Sorry I don't have pics of the truck yet, but the delighted owner just got home from Alaska last night and I don't even know if he's taken a picture of it yet. But we will move that to the top of the list! Thanks for your interest :)
However, I do have a story to share with you. We have not been able to find our cordless phone for days. Last weekend we looked for it everywhere--under the furniture , in the couch, you know all the standard places cordless phones migrate to when no one is looking. I assumed the battery was dead because we couldn't hear it paging, so I was beginning to think it had joined Methedad's glasses (which also cannot be found --a fact I learned about because he was sitting in his recliner at 6:00 am reading the newspaper with his sunglasses on) Anyway, D. came home from school Monday and told me he had found the phone.
"Hurray!!" I shouted. "Where was it?"
"In my backpack at school"
Go figure.

hahaha this post made me laugh. how do you lose your glasses that you wear daily?? And I would have like to have seen him sitting there reading the newspaper with his sunglasses on. Although I must say, he probably lost his glass so that he could wear his sunglasses all the time so people wouldnt realize he was sleeping, all the time. hahaha.
and how on earth did the phone end up in his back pack at school. hah. remember that time(s) that j was grounded from the phone so you always just took the cordless with you whenever you left. i remember that. hah.

Mommy that was great!!! I too wonder how he lost his glasses that he wears daily. Although one time, I forgot to change my sunglasses back to my regular glasses and left my purse in the car. So i sat through 2 classes with my shades on!

Ha! That is so great. Everyday life is just so funny. I would have like to have been a fly on the wall to watch D when he discovered the phone in his bag at school. Too funny!

I wish you'd gotten a picture of methedad with sunglasses on reading the paper. I'm with Carrie...was he wearing those same sunglasses in the car accident??
