On Sunday I thought of 3 things to tell you, but now I can only remember 2. I even jotted down a quick list, but I can't find it. Isn't that just how it goes!
Anyway--CJ is not going to be Gaston in the play after all. The original Gaston is going to be able to do the whole run, so CJ was not needed :(
Here is a quick little recipe that I remembered. Lay 2 crescent rolls out in a rectangle. Layer sandwich ham and cheese (I used 2 of each) and then cover with 2 more crescent rolls. Smush the edges together so the cheese doesn't leak out and then bake according to crescent roll directions. They should brown on both sides . Fast, easy, and tasty--my kind of recipe. You could serve with salad or yogurt or fresh fruit.
Also, the TAKS Test is over and only two of my students did not pass. One student was absent and the other one speaks very little English! So that was great news :) Now if I could just get all the research papers graded....
Happy April to everyone!

Glad to see your update. I appreciate that you think of us during random times of your day...like when you try a great recipe and think "I should blog about this!" Thank you :). Great job on TAKS sad times about CJ (are we calling him that again...I hope so, I never could get into those other names...I'm afraid he'll always be CJ to me...it suits him well :)).
evidence people. no organization here. haha im just joking mommy. thanks for updating. ill ahve to try the recipie. except that i do not care for ham. hm. or sandwhich cheese either now that I think about it. so perhaps i will just eat the crescent rolls.
see you next week! yay!
The recipe sounds tasty, I'd like to try it one of these days but I doubt they'll have Pillsbury Crescent Rolls in India. Maybe I could find Naan in a tube, roll that out and put Korma inside instead...probably wouldn't be quite the same though.
Also, I think being organized in your mind is great...mine is going in so many directions these days I'm having a bit of trouble with that.
Linds- I still call him CJ too. Im sorry but that cute little kid that I used to fight with will always be CJ to me.
That recipe does sound fast and easy. Would it work with turkey too?
Great news about the TAKS!! And I am really really sad that CJ will not be Gaston. But at least we still get to see them!!
ugh, i hated the TAKS test! maybe you could pass some of those research papers on to me and i can just turn them in for a grade, haha!
That's too bad about CJ but that's great about the TAKS...and that recipe would be a great lunch! I write down things I want to share in my planner! :)
That recipe sounds really yummy.
I'm glad you're done with TAKS... not much school left now!
