Conversations with the men in my house.

1. Conversation with Jacob--"Mom, I got a four year scholarship to Colorado State. " Me--"Really, that's great! " Jacob--"I think I'll go to UNT."

2. Conversation with David-- "Mom, do you need the guest list for my surprise birthday party? Remember, I want to go to that rock climbing place, but be sure you don't do the party on May 16, that's auditions for West Side Story. And work around all the banquets at the end of school, too. Maybe you should just have my surprise 16th birthday party in the summer."

3. Conversation with Chris--"Can you get the vin number for my truck off the insurance stuff?" Me--"Yes, but why?" Chris--"My truck has been stolen from the parking lot at work."

Those boys. They are something else. How is the truck saga going? Were they able to see anything on the security tapes? Poor David- being the last one, he's bound to know. We should have done his for his 15th birthday- that would have been a real surprise! :)

Carrie and I joke about David's "surprise" party. That is funny. I was wondering about security cameras. Any new news? I am not going to lie. I laughed when David sent me a text that said "Dads truck got stolen. But knowing him he probably left it at the theater!" And you should have said how much that scholarship was for!!

How do you keep your sanity? Sorry to hear about the truck, that's a crazy story. So glad you have your wonderful sense of humor to keep you going.

That's awesome that Jacob got a scholarship, and funny about David planning his own surprise party. I can't believe Uncle Chris' truck got stolen! He has bad luck with cars.
