Beginnings

I kept hearing about blogging, but never participated in it until this summer. Then I began reading my daughters' and son's blogs, and soon discovered my nieces' blogs, and now I'm hooked! What a great way to keep in touch with everyone all at once! I just wish others in my family and circle of friends would blog because they all have great stories to tell and I would love to feel closer to them.

If you're wondering about the title "Spread Too Thin," it isn't meant to be a description of my physical self (because that would be the "spread" part, not the "thin" part), but actually a description of my life, or how I generally feel about my life. Just when I think things are beginning to slow down (no one graduating, getting married, having a baby or moving in the near future), something at school or church seems to pop up...like being called to the Relief Society presidency at church and being asked to advise the yearbook club at school (which takes tons of extra time). Oh, well, maybe it will keep me young and I really do enjoy all the activity, but sometimes I just feel Spread Too Thin.

I'm so glad you joined the blog bandwagon. I'm glad things have settled down too- at least for a while. School's about to start, and with that comes my new responsibility as well!

Congrats (again)on your new calling- you'll be really good at it. And if you ever get stumped, don't forget I held that exact same position!

Love you!

Hooray & Welcome! I'm excited to read your blogs. I'm also excited to hear how you deal with being spread too thin....I think everyone needs ideas on this from time to time :).
